Summary

The Foundation focuses on work which will make a lasting difference to people's lives rather than simply alleviating the symptoms or current problems; is aimed at reducing isolation, stigma and discrimination; encourages or enables unpopular groups to share in the life of the whole community.

A significant proportion of your beneficiaries should be from one or more of these groups:

  • Asylum seekers and refugees
  • Gypsies and Travellers
  • Migrant communities
  • Offenders and ex-offenders
  • Older people
  • People experiencing mental health problems
  • People experiencing violence or abuse

Who can apply

They fund registered charities and organisations which are not charities but which seek funding for a charitable project such as constituted voluntary groups or Community Interest Companies.

Your income must be under £100,000 if your work relates to a relatively local area such as a town, village or small community.

Your income must be less the £250,000 of your work covers a wider area such as a county, regions or country-wide.

Apply as soon as you are ready. Applications received are likely to be considered in the round leading up to the following Trustees’ meeting in June 2024.
