Summary

Third Aim Grants are to improve the quality and reach of education across the developing world and provide financial assistance to educational institutions that are looking to expand. to improve the quality and reach of education across the developing world. They do this through funding both capital spend and running costs of educational projects in need.

Funding is always provided through UK partner charities, usually at a grass-roots level.

Who can apply

UK charities working with educational projects in developing countries. These UK charities also should be registered with the Charities Commission or the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

When to apply

Applications must be submitted by mid-February to be considered at the May/June meeting or by mid-August to be considered at the November/December meeting.
