Assistance is given to young people in need or organisations that support such young people giving preference to those that reside in the Clydesdale area of South Lanarkshire. In practice grants are given for the benefit of a large number of children and young people.

Previously grants have gone to schools, sports clubs and community events.

Applications can be submitted at any time, but they will only be considered at the two-monthly board meetings in January, March, May, July, September and November.
