Scottish Education And Action For Development - SEAD Fund

SEAD provides small grants for individuals or groups for positive action, and campaigning. Focus areas are: women’s rights, young people and their global rights, climate justice, inequality, poverty and health justice.

The Kirby Laing Foundation

The Foundation supports a wide range of charities both in the UK and abroad. Areas of particular interest include education and youth development, medical welfare and research, culture and the environment, and overseas development projects.

Highland Council - Tenant groups

Grants are intended to promote and sustain any organised tenant group by provision of an annual administrative core funding grant to cover day to day running costs.

The Pebble Trust

The Trust provides grant funding for projects which support the vision of a more sustainable and equal society. Applications will be prioritised from the Highlands and Islands.

Lush - Charity Pot Funding

Lush supports small, grassroots organisations around the world working in environment, animal protection and human rights. They look for organisations that take on issues that others don't, those that push the boundaries and challenge mainstream opinion.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise - Community Right To Buy Fund

Financial support is available to communities to utilise existing Community Right to Buy legislation, allowing communities to register an interest in acquiring land or buildings and have the first option to purchase if/when it's offered for sale.

Foundation Scotland - EDF Renewables Corriemoillie Community Fund (Contin)

The Fund will support projects which will support positive change and strategic impact to people living in the community council area of Contin, including Jamestown and Tarvie.

The Fund will support local people with education and training or apprenticeship opportunities and contribute to creating job opportunities in the local areas of Contin; Garve and District; Lochbroom; Marybank, Scatwell and Strathconon; and Strathpeffer.
