The John Ellerman Foundation

The Foundation aims to advance the wellbeing of people, society and the natural world by focusing on the arts, environment and social action. Grants are made in three categories: Arts, Environment and Social Action.

The Strathmartine Trust

The Strathmartine Trust offers grants with the primary object of supporting research and education in Scottish History. The Trustees seek applications for grants to assist with the completion of existing projects and to aid publication.

Movement for Good awards are available to charities that are changing people’s lives for the better.

Ferguson Bequest Fund

The principle activities of the fund are the maintenance and repair of church buildings throughout Scotland with priority to churches in the west and south west of Scotland. Support is also given for new initiatives and projects in Christian Mission.

Nancie Massey Charitable Trust

Grants are made to charities to support the arts, education, health and wellbeing for people and communities primarily in Edinburgh. Applications for medical research are by invite only.

The Arran Trust

This small trust supports conservation and community projects throughout Arran including wildlife, paths and trails, marine, conservation, and sustainability.

Valencia Communities Fund - Scottish Landfill Communities Fund

Valencia Communities Fund supports community, heritage and biodiversity projects located within 10 miles of any active landfill site or transfer station accepting 2,500 tonnes of waste.

Schroder Charity Trust

The Schroder Charity Trust is an independent grant-making Family Trust that has been supporting the charitable and voluntary sector for over 70 years. They support a broad range of charitable causes in the UK and overseas.
