Applications can only be accepted from constituted community groups located within Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston and the Isle of Arran. Applications for environmental projects will have priority but other projects are welcome to apply.
North Ayrshire Council administers Common Good funds for: Ardrossan; Irvine; Largs; Millport; Saltcoats and Stevenston. Applications must benefit all, or a significant group, of the inhabitants of the area to which the Common Good relates.
North Ayrshire Council has a number of Charitable Trusts for particular towns and villages which are intended to provide assistance to those in need. Priorities vary by each area.
North Ayrshire's Community Renewable Energy Generation Fund scheme invites applications from community organisations to support renewable energy projects in North Ayrshire.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Communities and Place Grant has been created to help communities deliver projects that will support local priorities and help them to thrive and grow.
Funding will help deliver tree planting and woodland creation activity at grass roots community level, with the aim to plant 108,000 trees across North Ayrshire by 2030.
North Ayrshire's Participatory Budgeting scheme is aimed to provide funding for a group or project to undertake activities that make a difference across three themes: Youth, Locality, and UK Shared Prosperity.
