CLEAR stands for Community-Led Environmental Action for Regeneration.CLEAR is a voluntary group of local residents from Buckhaven & Denbeath organising environmental improvements to help build pride in our town. CLEAR aims to promote visible improvements in the public space, especially greenspace, to encourage regeneration in this deprived and neglected community. CLEAR organises in an active planting programme extending community woodlands, orchards as well as spring bulbs and flowerbeds in greenspaces around town. We also run the vibrant Community Growing Space as the hub (orchard, allotments, polytunnel) for our efforts around town. Our Community Growing Space holds Open Days and provides a range of horticultural activities for volunteers and local school pupils. We also organise litter clearing, recycling, small landscaping and repairs, activities for kids and community art projectsAlongside that, we run a heritage project, have established paths and trails around the area and organise public art to brighten the landscape. Our office is used to sell our produce, our volunteers make Buckhaven-grown chutney, jam, soup and lip balm here and it acts as a hub for our events
