The primary aim of Hazel’s Footprints Trust is to help people experience the life-enhancing joys and challenges of working – in a voluntary capacity - with people in less privileged environments around the world. The charity was set up in memory of Hazel Scott Aiton who died aged 21, to help continue the type of work she took part in during a gap year in Namibia.Aims:To advance education for the public benefit by the provision of financial assistance to people embarking on a period of voluntary work overseas;To promote the charitable purposes of the Otjikondo Village School Foundation, Namibia, through the provision of an annual donation;To relieve poverty and advance education elsewhere in the world by the provision of occasional grants to educational establishments in impoverished countries
