Scotland's Churches Trust
-
Scotland's Churches Trust strives to preserve, promote and protect Scotland’s rich ecclesiastical built heritage. In addition to providing an advocacy and advice service for the owners and users of Scotland’s religious built heritage, our Trust focuses much of its efforts on improving the long-term sustainability of Scotland’s places of worship. We are currently involved in a collaboration with Historic Environment Scotland recruiting volunteers across Scotland to record the contents of the hundreds of church buildings across the country facing closure and we continue to develop new and existing initiatives that strengthen the ties between the country’s ecclesiastical built heritage, the communities that surround these buildings and the wider tourist economy.

Scotland's Churches Trust - Organ Playing Fund
The Trust wishes to encourage the playing of organs and has a fund to assist churches in having their organs played more than at present. It is hoped that this will contribute to the "open doors" objective of the Trust and its member churches.
