Music for All - Community Project Funding
Details
At the Music For All Charity they believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play music. They make grants available to address the musical needs of community music groups and educational organisations.
They support projects and initiatives taking place throughout the UK that all aim to bring music to their community and would benefit from a “helping hand” to fulfil their potential in becoming truly sustainable music programmes.
Grants are available under a number of different categories, each with their own criteria and award amounts. See the Music for All website for full details of these. Currently the categories are:
- Groups working with those facing chronic diseases & conditions affecting quality of life
- Groups working with those facing financial hardship
- Youth Clubs (and comparable organisations)
- Half size classical guitars
- Descant recorder packs with sheet music pack
When applying for a Music for All grant, you are required to nominate an independent referee who has to fill out a quick five minute form, alongside your application form, that must be submitted by the funding round deadline as well.
