LNER - Customer and Community Investment Fund
Details
The Customer and Community Investment Fund (CCIF), is a funding scheme for community projects. The fund allows LNER to work in partnership with charities, their customers and the communities located along the LNER route.
The application must support one of the following three priorities:
- Better for People Fostering a culture of equality, that champions diversity and inclusivity. Creating a culture of positive mental health, bringing people and communities together.
- Better for Places Creating skilled and inclusive communities along their networks that can thrive.
- Better for Planet Conserve resources, reduce waste and reuse where possible.

Who can apply
Registered charities, community groups and other not-for-profits which are based within 15 miles of the LNER route, in England and Scotland. See map on funder website to check eligibility.
Preference will be given to small and medium charities (between £10,000 - £1million income), over larger charities.

Now open. Applications will close on 25 August 2025 (for decision Sept/Oct).
