Details

Celebrating Renfrewshire is a fund designed by and for young people, where young people aged 12-25 will have a direct say on which projects are funded in their local area.

They are looking for projects and ideas that will:

  • benefit young people aged 12-25 years
  • demonstrate real benefit to the local area by improving or - complementing existing service provision
  • encourage equality of opportunity
  • contribute to one or more of the priorities selected by local young people:
  1. reducing isolation and improving mental and physical wellbeing
  2. cost of living
  3. employability and life skills
  4. staying safe
  5. substance use and addiction

Who can apply

Anyone aged 12 to 25, or groups who work with that age group, can apply for the Celebrating Renfrewshire fund. A young person can apply on their own or as part of a group with other young people aged 12 to 25. All applications submitted by young people need to have the support of a voluntary or community organisation.

The voluntary or community organisation must:

  • be based in Renfrewshire
  • have a constitution
  • have a bank account
  • be managed by members of the community.

Only one application per school parent council will be accepted.

When to apply

Support sessions have now all taken place. If you wish to apply but are unable to attend a session, please email the team at celebratingren@renfrewshire.gov.uk

How to apply

Application forms will be sent out directly to interested groups after they have attended a support session. Register an interest in applying and select a support session date via the council website.
