The Banks Kype Muir Community Fund has been created to provide support to deliver local projects that provide social, economic and/or environmental benefit. Community groups, voluntary organisations and environmental projects that are charitable, educational, philanthropic or benevolent in purpose are eligible for this Fund.

Who can apply

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility are restricted to 10km radius of the wind farm; Strathaven & Glassford; Stonehouse; Lesmahagow; Sandford and Upper Avondale community councils and Blackwood, Kirkmuirhill and Boghead community council area.

Applicants should contact the Fund Manager before applying for a grant. Applications are then made online via the Fund website.
