- Personal expenses.

Who can apply
Amateur or professional scientists over the age of 50. There is a preference for individuals living in Scotland, or with a clear Scottish connection, but people from elsewhere in the UK are also eligible. Organisations whose purposes align with those of the Murdoch Trust may also apply.
