Details

The fund is available to organisations and individuals who operate within the following community council boundaries - Dyke landward, Forres, Findhorn & Kinloss, Speyside, Finderne and Heldon. Assistance can be offered to small local businesses, for capital equipment or to business start-ups which focus on environmental, educational, health, welfare or community improvements and outdoor activities.

Who can apply

Applications are open to members of clubs, societies or groups operating within the current community council boundaries of Forres, East Nairnshire, Grantown-on-Spey, Cromdale & Advie, Speyside, Heldon, Findhorn & Kinloss, Finderne and Dyke Landward are eligible for consideration.

Applications from individuals will also be considered, provided that those applications demonstrate a clear benefit to the wider community.

When to apply

There are three rounds each year. Upcoming deadlines are:

  • Monday 15 September 2025 (for meeting on 20 October)
  • Monday 19 January 2026 (for meeting on 23 February 2026)
