Glasgow Life - Sport and Physical Activity Fund

Summary

The Sport and Physical Activity Fund supports voluntary sport organisations embedded in their community to increase participation in sport and physical activity, particularly in under-represented groups.

Funding is to establish new or enhance existing activities increasing the number of people being active in Glasgow. Grants can cover a range of costs including:

  • Short Term Facility Hire Costs (recommended 6 weeks)
  • Costs that provide access for underrepresented and marginalised groups/individuals
  • Sports and Safety Equipment
  • Training Costs
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Administration costs
