Crown Estate Scotland - Local Partnerships Capital Investment Fund
The Local Partnerships Capital Investment Fund aims to support and develop local communities through commercial investment of capital, particularly where they complement existing or planned interventions that deliver place-based projects on the ground.
To meet the objectives set out in the Crown Estate Scotland’s 2020-23 Corporate Plan, the Estate are seeking to identify investment opportunities to grow revenue and capital value whilst delivering benefits to coastal and rural communities linked to the Scottish Crown Estate through projects that involve local partnerships.
Crown Estate Scotland manages land and property owned by the Monarch in right of the Crown. Their purpose is to invest in property, natural resources and people to generate lasting value for Scotland.

Who can apply
To be eligible to apply for Local Partnerships funds, you must be: A UK registered business, statutory body, or other legally constituted organisation; and Providing (or proposing to provide) opportunities for the sustainable development and regeneration of coastal and rural communities within 5 miles of the Scottish Crown Estate.
When to apply
Stage 1 applications are open from 7 September 2021 until 5pm on 10 December 2021.

How to apply
There is a three stage application process. Stage 1 is to complete the application form available on the funder website. The Crown Estate will then work with applicants to submit a strategic business case.
