Worshipful Company Of Information Technologists
Details
Makes grants to projects which fall under one of the four priority areas:
- Enhancing opportunity for young people through more effective education
- Improving the quality of life for the disadvantaged, disabled or socially excluded
- Helping charities and other not-for-profit organisations get the best out of IT
- Improving the understanding of IT and its capabilities to the wider public
All the projects funded must make use of IT. They are more likely to fund projects which demonstrate an innovative use of IT, can be developed into a model for wider replication, are sustainable and focus on outcomes which can be formally reported on.
The WCIT also provide pro-bono IT support. If you require independent strategic level pro-bono help for your IT project, contact they Charity Coordinator on the email provided to discuss how they can help.
