“I’ve got an idea” is a micro fund for either individuals or small groups or organisations who have a novel technical idea which they want to try out. They are looking for ideas that:

  • are based on a novel technical idea
  • would deliver a social or environmental benefit
  • are intriguing, inventive and have an element of fun

Previous awards are varied and have included: 3d printing instruments for people with disabilities; school pin badges which monitor air pollution; and an energy harvesting dancefloor.
