The Happiness Fund
Summary
The Happiness Fund is available to enable and support projects which improve mental health and wellbeing, inclusion, learning and skills development in local communities. They are specifically looking for grassroots organisations that are set up for and by the local community.
The main outcomes of the Fund are:
- Mental health
- Wellbeing & happiness
- Inclusion
- Learning and skills development
The fund is intended to support the setting up of new groups and activities, but to be successful, applicants will need to indicate how the activity/group can become self-sustainable or able to attract funding from other sources for the longer term.

- Focused on longevity
When to apply
Applications open 4 September and close on 6 October 2023. Decisions will be communicated by 6 November and if invited, interviews will take place on 30 November 2023.

How to apply
Apply online via the Fund website. There are three stages to the applications process: stage one is a qualifying round, stage two a full application and stage three an interview.
