Glasgow Community Food Network - Food and Climate Action Peer Budgeting Fund

Details

Glasgow Community Food Network are offering funding for community groups who have a project idea relating to food and climate. Projects can span across disciplines from kitchen cookery to visual and creative arts. The sky is the limit here – whether you are an artist, creative, farmer, grower, teacher or an eager member of your community, we want to hear from you!

Projects can be brand new or ongoing, however all money awarded must be spent by 30th September 2025.

Food & Climate Action Project Outcomes:

  • Understanding: People and organisations in Glasgow, including those currently outside the climate conversation, improve their knowledge of the link between different food systems and climate change and their current role in the food system.
  • Action: People and organisations in Glasgow are able to take positive actions to address climate issues connected to local food systems
  • Growing: People and organisations in Glasgow are more able to take part in growing activities through increased skills and improved accessibility.
  • Connection: There is a movement of communities and organisations in Glasgow that join together to discuss and take climate action.

Who can apply

Projects across disciplines in Glasgow area postcodes from G1-G84 are eligible for funding. Applicants must be part of a constituted group or organisation with the following:

  • Articles of Association OR Constitution including Companies House OR OSCR registration reference
  • UK Bank account
