Inverclyde Cost of Living Support Grant Programme

Summary

The Inverclyde Cost of Living Support Grant Programme is a small local grant programme funded by Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) and is being delivered on their behalf by CVS Inverclyde. The funding is available to constituted third sector organisations supporting individuals and families who are adversely affected by the impact of the Cost-of-Living Crisis and are experiencing continued disadvantage.

All grants will need to respond to the following priority: Supporting vulnerable individuals and families adversely affected by the cost-of-living crisis, in particular in relation to those facing difficulties with providing:

  • Food
  • Heating/power
  • Appropriate clothing
  • Any other items which the organisation deems is a significant need

Successful organisations will:

  • Issue cash payments or supermarket vouchers to individuals or families (whichever is deemed most appropriate in the circumstance).
  • Authorise payments up to £100 per individual or £250 per family
  • Consider relevant signposting to local foodbanks, community pantries, organisations to support income maximisation and other third sector organisations.
