Cycling Scotland - Access to Bikes for Young People Fund
Summary
The Access to Bikes for Young People Fund has been established to best meet the needs of young people unable to access a bike. Eligible groups include young carers and care experienced young people, those who cannot meet the cost or are in receipt of benefits, and those with disabilities.
Successful proposals should demonstrate:
- Effective stakeholder engagement to identify and address barriers
- Potential for effective collaboration and partnership work
- Efforts to address inequalities and promote inclusiveness.
Funding can support:
- Procurement of bikes and bike accessories (e.g. locks) for children and young people
- Bike maintenance equipment
- Cycling information boards
