HIE Green Jobs Capital Fund
Summary
Supports businesses and social enterprises to create and retain jobs that produce goods or services that benefit the environment or conserve natural resources, as well as jobs that help drive more environmentally friendly processes.
The funding is for capital expenditure that will help organisations retain or create green jobs, for example expansion, machinery, fixtures and fittings and IT infrastructure. This can also include R&D projects that are capitalised on your balance sheet.
Green jobs are either:
- Jobs in businesses that produce goods or provide services that benefit the environment or conserve natural resources.
- Jobs in which workers' duties involve making their establishment's production processes more environmentally friendly or use fewer natural resources.
