Details

Baillie Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund’s objectives are to fairly and reasonably disburse funds for the general benefit of the public living within the current boundaries of the West Caithness Community Council. The Fund may also consider applications from educational and sporting organisations from other community council areas in Caithness and North Sutherland.

Projects that help to create a vibrant community including those with a focus on environmental, education and community improvement projects, including outdoor activities will be considered.

Who can apply

  • Residents, clubs, societies, groups, businesses and business start-ups in the West Caithness area. The Fund may also consider applications from educational and sporting groups from other community council areas in Caithness and North Sutherland.
  • Only projects/applications that help to create a vibrant community including those with a focus on environmental, education and community improvement projects, including outdoor activities will be considered.
  • Individual residents in the West Caithness Community Council area District are also able to apply for funding towards micro-generation and battery storage on individual dwellings [see guidance]
