Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust - Reducing Veteran Homelessness Programme
Details
This programme focuses on strengthening supported housing provision for veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It places particular emphasis on increasing the availability and quality of provision for those with more complex and higher levels of need, who may face the greatest challenges in accessing and sustaining accommodation.
They will fund projects that meet the following outcomes:
Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness achieve improved long-term housing stability, with reduced instances of repeat homelessness through access to appropriate supported housing and wraparound support. The supported housing system for veterans operates more effectively, with improved flow through services, reduced bottlenecks, and increased capacity; individual projects are expected to demonstrate how they contribute to these improvements, supporting quicker access to appropriate support and progression towards independent living.
Projects must support veterans who are at risk of experiencing homelessness, currently homeless, or are being supported by transitional housing services.
