Details
The DPO Charity Fund provides access to data protection consultancy services at an 80% funded rate. Eligible charities can apply for funding towards:
- Information Asset Register and Data Mapping
- Policy Drafting and Review
- Impact Assessments and Gap Analysis
- Data Protection Training
- Data Sharing and International Transfers
- Privacy-by-Design
- Data Protection Readiness

Who can apply
Organisations must:
- Be based in the UK
- Have a management committee in place of at least 3 unrelated people
- Have a bank account in the charity/organisation name
- Be able to attend a meeting with a DPO within 12 weeks of signing
- Be willing to carry out a case study once the consultancy work has been completed
When to apply
Currently closed. The next funding round is open for applications from 1st March 2026.
