Details
The Pear Tree Fund for Music supports work in the following fields:
- The promotion of classical music and/or the appreciation of classical music,
- Working with children and young people in relation to their appreciation of music,
- The promotion and/or research the benefits of music to health and mental wellbeing, and
- The support of musicians based in Scotland.

Who can apply
Projects and work must be based in Scotland. The Pear Tree Fund makes grants to organisations and institutions only. Applications by individuals will not be considered.
When to apply
Currently closed.
The Trustees meet once a year, usually in October or November, to decide on grants for the following 12 months. Applications should be received no earlier than 1 June and not later than 31 August each year.
How to apply
Applications should be made in writing on no more than three sides of A4 via the application form which is available on the Fund website. If your organisation does not have access to email, a hard copy application may be sent.
