The RYA Foundation are committed to helping more young people get on the water and progress in sailing and boating.
The new Youth Fund provides financial support to young people who show enthusiasm and commitment but need help to take the next step.

Who can apply
RYA affiliated clubs, Sailability sites, Sailability groups, and other non-profit boating providers can apply. Applicants should have a recognised governing document (such as a trust deed or constitution) and a formal management committee. Applicants may be registered charities, charitable companies, or members-only clubs.
When to apply
Applications can be submitted at any time and are considered at quarterly Trustees meetings.

Each application goes through two stages:
- An initial eligibility check
- Consideration by our Trustees, based on need, commitment and potential.
