Friends of Glasgow Museums Grant
Details
The Friends of Glasgow Museums’ aims are to cultivate interest in the Arts, Heritage, Culture and Science and provide independent support for all Glasgow’s Art Galleries and Museums, and their collections.
Applications are welcome from any Accredited Museum and/or Art Gallery based in the City of Glasgow and they are particularly interested in fostering and developing the talents and interests in the Arts and Culture in the city by young people.
Grants are awarded for the following areas:
- the purchase of new acquisitions
- the conservation and display of existing artefacts
- the production of books and catalogues relating to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions
- children and youth projects including the long-established Glasgow Museums’ Children’s Annual Art Competition
