Details
The Foundation supports projects across 5 main themes:
- Children and Young People disadvantaged physically, socially or economically
- Living well with cancer
- Mental health
- End of life care
- Financial Wellbeing
They fund the direct delivery costs of services and support activities across these core themes - for example, salary costs or specific programme expenses. They also offer multi-year funding to charities.

Who can apply
Applications will be accepted from charities registered with the UK Charity Commissions, exempt charities (including special needs schools) and CIO’s.
- Minimum annual income:
- £1,000,000
- Maximum annual income:
- £7,000,000
When to apply
Quarterly calls for applications, with two calls for each of the five main funding themes annually.
- Q4 Autumn: open 1 - 8 October 2026 for charities delivering projects that focus on the following:
- Children and Young People disadvantaged physically, socially or economically
- Mental Health Support

- Q1 Winter: open 4 - 11 January 2027 (decisions 17 March) for:
- Q3 Summer: open 1 - 8 July 2027 (decisions 15 Sept)

- Q2 Spring: open 5 - 9 April 2027 (decisions 21 June)
- Q4 Autumn: open 1 - 8 October 2027 (decisions 15 January 2028)
