The Quaker Housing Trust Main Grants and Loans programme gives funding for projects that create homes. Projects must be well-progressed in terms of planning, with feasibility studies undertaken, a robust budget established and relevant planning permissions secured.

Who can apply
To be eligible for an award, your organisation must:
- Have legal charitable status
- Be a small organisation with limited funds for the project you want to do
- Operate in England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
- Maximum annual income:
- £1,000,000
When to apply
Main grants and loans programme
- 29th January 2026 5pm: Deadline for Expressions of Interest
- 13th February 2026 - 20th February 2026: Feedback on Expressions of Interest and invitations to submit second stage application
- 26th March 2026 5pm: Deadline for second stage applications
- 18th April 2026: Second stage applications reviewed by trustees
- 23rd April 2026 - 8th May 2026: Outcomes of second stage applications sent to projects
Please note, it can take up to 24 weeks to release funding as we will need documentation related to your organisation and project, so please only apply if this timeline aligns with your project timeline.
