Peter Harrison Foundation - Active Lives
Details
Their mission is to empower people with disabilities or significant disadvantages to reach their full potential. They do this by making awards which focus on building capacity within the charitable sector through a dual-layered funding model.
They make awards over 3 years to capacity-building organisations who deliver training, resources and development support to grass roots organisations at regional or national level. At least 50% of the award is re-granted to grassroots clubs and organisations.
The grassroots organisations benefit from this direct funding as well as capacity-building support to create life-changing opportunities within their communities.
