Details

Funding from Renfrewshire Council to create a network of local spaces and places where people can connect with others locally to overcome social isolation and loneliness.

Funding can be used for various communities activities, including (but not limited to):

  • a new cooking project where ingredients are provided
  • projects that bring people from different backgrounds together, such as different cultures or age groups
  • tablet or device classes for older people
  • projects providing social connection and supporting - recovery for people affected by drugs and alcohol
  • projects supporting people living with mental illness
  • projects supporting people with a head injury
  • lunch clubs
  • crafting or 'making' activities
  • classes with a focus on physical activity
  • classes which provide and show how to install simple energy efficiency measures.
