Details

Each of Scotland’s seven Regional Transport Partnerships (RTPs) receive direct funding through Transport Scotland's People and Place Programme to encourage more people in Scotland to walk, cycle or use other active modes of transportation. The goal is to reduce car usage and promote walking, wheeling, and cycling for shorter everyday journeys. Nestrans aims to maximise opportunities for increased modal shift within communities.

The programme themes are:

  • Behaviour change theme: Schools and Young People
