    Details

The SG UK Foundation’s new fund, Bright Futures, is investing £1 million over three years to empower and equip people from marginalised groups to access education and employment, driving lasting social and economic impact.

Designed by the Foundation with input from the Bright Futures Committee of representatives across SG UK, the fund’s two investment pillars include:

    • Donations: One-off investments of £2.5k to staff-nominated organisations focused on supporting health and wellbeing initiatives for marginalised people.
    • Grants: Larger, long-term investments of £10k - £50k supporting confidence, aspirations, and mental health for marginalised people.

Bright Futures Grants are designed to support organisations which are providing opportunities to develop aspirations, confidence, and mental health, helping individuals from marginalised communities to build brighter futures and contribute meaningfully to society.

The Foundation invests in projects that develop key skills, attitudes and attributes to foster equitable education and employment outcomes nationwide. Funded initiatives must demonstrate a clear and measurable impact, ensuring that individuals from marginalised communities are supported to meet one or more of the following goals:

    • Pursue and sustain their aspirations
    • Enhance their confidence and self-belief
    • Strengthen their mental health, wellbeing, and resilience

The fund is administered by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
