Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub - Climate Change in Your Community Grant

Details

Climate Change in Your Community Grant is to enable community groups and organisations who haven’t previously had climate conversations or been involved in climate action, including those who are more vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, to utilise climate knowledge from the Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub and the artistic skills of a creative practitioner(s) to host events with their community. The events are to engage and explore conversations with your community on understanding climate change, how it affects you and how climate actions can help you.

Interactive, participatory-style creative workshops co-designed by a community group and creative practitioner(s) can enable participants to understand issues of climate change in an accessible way, explore how it connects with their priorities and develop opportunities that can enable them to participate in climate action.

This fund is for you to identify the challenges in your community linked to climate change and use creative practices to explore how to connect your communities to the issue and how to empower them to take climate actions.

LCAH want to support you to work with your community and design creative activities that engage them and that recognises the needs and challenges that they experience.
