Aberdeenshire Council - Community Resilience Fund - Communications Grants
Details
Following the audit of Community Resilience Groups and the Community Resilience Group Priorities Survey, Aberdeenshire Council understand there are concerns about being able to communicate in an emergency where landline, mobile and internet connection is compromised such as a prolonged power outage. Communities will have different priorities around communication and this funding looks to offer potential solutions to suit a range of scenarios.
There are a range of possible solutions you could apply for depending on the level of risk in your community and the capacity within your community to apply the solutions, e.g.:
- walkie-talkies
- satellite phones
- satellite internet systems
