Who can apply

Applicants must be one of the following:

  • A UK based non-profit group or organisation that supports LGBT+ young people within the age range of 14-25 years old. The organisation or project funded must be youth specific and led by and for the LGBT+ community (e.g. an LGBT+ organisation which primarily supports LGBT+ youth or an LGBT+ social group for aged 14-18yr olds which is led by LGBT+ youth workers within a wider youth organisation)
  • A UK based non-profit youth group/organisation that is looking to create a new recurring LGBT+ youth group or project within its current service within the age range of 14-25 years old. Any new youth group or project would need to be led by and for the LGBT+ community. These applicants would need to demonstrate that there is a current lack of provision in their geographic area and that there is a demand for a new group.

Organisations must have been delivering youth work for a minimum of 2 years to apply to the fund.

Groups who have been past recipients of grants from Consortium that have fulfilled all monitoring requirements and organisations who are currently in receipt of a grant from Consortium are eligible to apply. Current recipients of a Henry Smith Foundation grant are eligible to apply.
