Foundation Scotland- Community Voice Clackmannanshire - Preventing Homelessness
Details
Clackmannanshire’s Transformation Space is a collaborative initiative between local residents, Clackmannanshire Council, and funding partners. By combining Council resources with external funding, the programme aims to establish a new community-led fund to support innovative projects that address key challenges faced by people living and working in Clackmannanshire.
This fund marks a significant shift towards a preventative and relational approach to public services—supporting early intervention and encouraging new, collaborative ways of working.
A local group, Community Voice, has been formed by residents to bring lived experience and insight into the development of the fund. Working closely with Foundation Scotland, the group has helped shape the fund’s direction by identifying the most pressing issues—particularly around homelessness—not by offering solutions, but by defining the problems that matter most.
The fund invites individuals, groups and organisations to develop creative, community-rooted ideas that contribute to preventing homelessness and improving lives across Clackmannanshire.
