Dumfries & Galloway Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund
Details
Funding for community-based projects that promote good mental health and wellbeing, or protect against distress and mental ill health, for adults aged 16 and over — particularly those tackling:
- Social isolation and loneliness
- Suicide prevention
- Poverty and inequality with a particular emphasis on responding to the cost-of-living crisis and support to those facing socio-economic disadvantages.
They especially welcome applications supporting at-risk groups, including people facing socio-economic disadvantage, those with long-term health conditions or disabilities, older people, young people (16–24), LGBTI communities, and others outlined in the full guidance.
Funded activity must run within 1st April 2027 – 31st March 2028, for a maximum of 12 months

Who can apply
Small, grass-roots third sector organisations based or already delivering support services in Dumfries and Galloway (SCIOs, charities, constituted groups, CICs, community councils and more) with an annual income of no more than £1 million.
