Moray Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund
Details
The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund continues to invest in community-led projects that improve lives, build resilience and strengthen mental health and wellbeing across Moray and Scotland. Local TSIs each have their own version of this fund.
Local organisations use the funding to deliver activities that reduce social isolation, promote prevention and early intervention, and create opportunities for people to connect, participate and thrive.
The priorities are:
- Tackle mental health inequalities through supporting a range of ‘at risk’ groups.
- Address priority issues of social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, poverty and inequality with a particular emphasis on responding to the cost-of-living crisis and support to those facing socio-economic disadvantage.
- Support small ‘grass roots’ community groups and organisations to deliver such activities.
- Provide opportunities for people to connect with each other, build trusted relationships and revitalise communities.
