The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing (CMHW) Fund for Adults aims to support community-based initiatives that promote and develop good mental health and wellbeing and/or mitigate the impact of distress and mental ill health within the adult population (aged 16 or over), with a particular focus on prevention and early intervention. Each TSI administers funding for that region.
Fund priorities:
- Social isolation and loneliness
- Suicide prevention
- Poverty and inequality
In addition to the national priorities, applications should support one or more local priorities:
- Improving mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Reducing loneliness and social isolation
- Tackling poverty and inequalities
- Supporting prevention and early intervention
- Building stronger, more connected communities
- Developing community-led solutions
- Working collaboratively with local partners
- Demonstrating clear community need and impact
