Inspiring Scotland - A Call for Campaign Ideas
Details
This ‘call for ideas’ is to fund early-stage campaigning projects that aim to tackle a social injustice.
They’re looking for projects that show clarity of vision and direction, with a strong sense of how they will help lay the groundwork and generate momentum for a larger campaign. They’re seeking short term, focused projects that lay the groundwork for larger, impactful campaigns. These could help shape new campaigns or strengthen existing ones by exploring ideas, building evidence, or testing approaches. This might include:
- Scoping research to understand and validate key issues (for example environment testing, legal advice, etc)
- Testing messaging or tactics to refine campaign approaches
- Convening to build momentum, alignment, or collaboration
- Piloting ideas to explore new directions or demonstrate potential
Issues that you may wish to campaign about could include air pollution, environmental impact, unfair treatment of a particular group, health inequalities, housing inequalities or holding statutory bodies to account, amongst others.
Applicants must be committed to making significant progress towards the change they seek within a 12-month period starting December 2025.
