Argyll & Bute Council - Empty Business Property Grant

Details

The grant scheme will provide financial incentive to property owners/tenants/potential occupiers to bring an empty business property back into productive use. Empty Business Property Grant would support the following:

Repurposing a vacant property for an alternative business use, or refurbishment of an empty business property to enable reoccupation. Assist the undertaking of feasibility studies to develop sustainable future uses. Support the relocation of an organisation as a new entrant to the Argyll and Bute economy. Retention of a growing enterprise through expansion into an empty property as an additional unit or within a new locale. Where appropriate, support change of use applications to residential use to help tackle our housing emergency and declining population. You must be able to specify what you would spend the grant on and explain why your business requires financial support with those costs.
