FCCAN SOUP are designed to help groups test new ideas or pilot small projects such as repair cafés, community growing, tool libraries, workshops or local engagement activities. Funding for these grants will be decided through the exciting SOUP method of Participatory Budgetting, where community groups pitch their ideas and local people vote for the projects they’d like to see funded.

At the event on 12 August at 6pm at Betty Nicols, Kirkcaldy, local people (and fellow pitchers) will hear your presentation and vote on the projects they would like to see funded.

Your project must be climate-focused, and plan to expend the funds before the 31 March 2027.

Who can apply

FCCAN Members can apply. Members must:

• Be based in (or working in) Fife
• Be not-for-profit organisations / Community Interest Companies
• Have a bank account in the organisation's name and a constitution (if your group is not constituted, you may be able to work through another constituted organisation that can apply on your behalf)

How to apply

Submit an application via their online form. Then you must pitch your project in a 5min presentation at the event on 12 August at 6pm at Betty Nicols, Kirkcaldy.
