The Newark Trust - Community Places Fund
Details
The Newark Trust Community Places Fund helps local groups invest in the physical spaces that anchor the community. The purpose of the fund is to support local community organisations in Inverclyde with projects designed to improve the places, buildings and environments in which activities already take place.
They provide support for practical capital projects, including:
- Essential Upgrades: Installing new boilers, fixing heating systems, or improving utility infrastructure.
- Accessibility & Inclusion: Widening access points, upgrading facilities, or installing dedicated sensory rooms.
- Community Enrichment: Transforming indoor or outdoor spaces, updating children's play areas, and launching creative structural projects.
This year, applications which relate to (1) Fighting Child Poverty and (2) Supporting Children and Young People with Additional Support Needs will be given a higher priority in the decision-making process. This will not prevent applications from other areas of the community.
