Bagri Foundation
Details
The Foundation offers grants to non-profit arts organisations actively engaged in the cultural sector, supporting artistic projects.
Projects must fulfil all the requirements below to be eligible:
- Be hosted by established organisations with a track record of delivering artistic projects.
- Promote the sharing of traditional or contemporary Asian culture.
- Include established or mid-career level artists from Asia or the diasporas.
- Result in a tangible public outcome.
- Align with the Foundation's mission as outlined here.
The Foundation supports diverse forms of cultural expression, encompassing both traditional and contemporary mediums, such as:
- Artisan crafts
- Exhibitions and Biennials
- Music
- New public commissions
- Performing arts
- Literature public events
- Prizes and awards

Who can apply
- UK and European registered charities.
- Charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs)
- Exempt charities (e.g. national museums)
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Not-for-profit organisations
- Creative collectives with proven track record and public profile
They support projects for international projects by invitation only.
When to apply
Grants are awarded twice a year. Spring grants application dates will be announced in early 2027.
Deadlines:
- Expression of interest: 7 September – 5 October (11:59pm – end of day)
- Stage 2 application: Monday 9 November (11:00pm – end of day) (for outcome in late December 2026)
How to apply
The Arts and Culture Grant application is a two-stage process. After a successful expression of interest, selected applicants will receive an invitation to submit a full application.
Donations towards education, relief work, development and healthcare do not use the submittable platform and are at the discretion of the trustees with no deadlines.
