The trust reviews its policy every two years - currently the major categories supported are:

  • The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture.
  • The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended.
  • The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health and disability.

Who can apply

Grants are given to organisations in Scotland. Grants are normally made only to a recognised Scottish Charity.

When to apply

The deadlines for applications are 31st March (for the meeting in May) & 30th September (for the meeting in November).
