Details

You can apply for a grant for a wide range of purposes as long as it is not for profit and brings benefits to the residents of East Dunbartonshire. You can ask for funding for start-up costs, special projects, equipment, salaries, capital items and running costs.

Applications for grants are assessed against the Local Outcome Improvement Plan. These priority outcomes are:

  • East Dunbartonshire has an expanding economy with a competitive and diverse business and retail base
  • people are equipped with knowledge, skills and training to enable them to employment
  • children and young people are safe, healthy and ready to learn
  • East Dunbartonshire is a safe and sustainable environment in which to live, work and visit; people and communities enjoy increased physical and mental wellbeing and health inequalities are reduced
  • older population are supported to enjoy a high quality of life and our more vulnerable citizens, their families and carers benefit from effective care and support services.

Any group that has a constitution, a bank account, is not for profit and aims to bring benefits to the residents of East Dunbartonshire can apply.
